It’s hard to put into words just how impactful this event was—but I’ll try.
My first introduction to “Walsh” was through my son Jahvon. Whenever I’d ask, “Where are you going?” the answer was often “Walsh’s.” I knew they shared a love for bikes and music—what they called “Bikes N Bass”—but I didn’t know much more than that.
After Jahvon’s passing, I found myself overwhelmed with his collection of bikes—three motorbikes, two push bikes, and all his tools. That’s when Walsh stepped in. Without him, I wouldn’t have known where to begin. His patience, kindness, and unwavering support helped me through those first difficult months. I’ve come to realise just how deep and genuine his friendship with Jahvon was. So, when he invited me to Bikestormz 2024, it was an easy decision to say yes.
Arriving at Southwark Park on a sunny morning, the atmosphere was calm—just a few early birds eager to get started. I watched Walsh set up the massive sound system with precision and care. His energy was palpable, and it was clear this was where he felt most at home.
Walsh introduced me to Jake, the driving force behind Bikestormz. As the event approaches its 10th anniversary in 2025, I have nothing but respect for what he’s achieved. It was a privilege to witness so many young people coming together for one purpose: to ride, perform stunts, and enjoy the freedom that biking brings. The joy and camaraderie in that space were incredible, and it was an honour to be part of it.
I’m thrilled that the J-Edo Fund will be involved in next year’s event. We look forward to supporting these young people as they come together, not just to ride, but to be part of something bigger—an initiative that’s about community, creativity, and reducing knife crime.

I am pleased to share the successful outcome of the Fu Jau Summer Social 2024 raffle, which raised an impressive total of £629.44.
This achievement would not have been possible without the generous support of our local businesses, who donated an array of fantastic prizes. These prizes included Fu Jau 121 sessions with Master Bedlow and Coach Berry, a weekend trip away, Amazon vouchers and many more.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed, from purchasing raffle tickets to donating prizes. Every contribution, big or small, played a vital role in reaching this milestone. The funds raised will significantly support our ongoing projects and initiatives, furthering our mission and enhancing our community's growth and well-being.
Thank you once again for your continued support and for making the Fu Jau Summer Social 2024 an event to remember. We look forward to your participation in future events and continued collaboration in our journey ahead.

My beautiful daughter surprised me with an amazing gift of a Skydive 🪂
"So I thought what better way to take the plunge than in memory of my late Nephew Jahvon.💚
His mentality will always inspire me to live my life to the fullest, as he did his.
I will be descending from the Sky in a Tandom jump on Saturday 8th June. So in true Jahvon style I will be “Feeling the fear and doing it anyway” 💚💚💚
